Chiropractic care is a non-invasive manual therapy that treats the musculoskeletal system, while having a healing impact on the nervous system. Chiropractic care restores optimal function, mobility, and strength. When our joints are misaligned and our nervous system is altered, our body produces symptoms such as pain, decreased blood flow, swelling, decreased mobility, numbness, and altered organ function. Unfortunately, many times people will try to mask these symptoms with drugs, surgery, and a sedentary lifestyle. But these “cover-ups” never address the root cause of many health conditions. When a chiropractic adjustment is delivered, the structures are realigned and your nervous system can function at a more optimal healing state. As Hippocrates stated, “Natural forces within us are the true healers of disease.During your chiropractic sessions at The Health Movement, Dr. Madeline delivers safe and specific adjustments and high quality massage therapy.

What to expect during your first visit at The Health Movement

Before your first chiropractic appointment, you will be emailed an intake form to provide us with a health history so we can better serve you. During the initial visit, Dr. Madeline will discuss your health history with you and listen to your goals and concerns. She will then perform an orthopedic and neurological assessment and determine a proper diagnosis and treatment plan for you. Any questions or concerns you may have can be addressed at any time during the session. Your initial visit includes the treatment as well. Dr. Madeline uses a combination of massage, cupping, and chiropractic adjustments in her treatments. Please plan for approximately 30-40 minutes for your first visit. Follow up sessions are 20 minutes.
