Dr. Madeline is a board certified licensed Chiropractor, based in Redondo Beach, CA. She obtained her Doctorate of Chiropractic from Southern California University of Health Sciences, after a successful career as a sports massage therapist. Her education and clinical skills stem from the most recent evidence-based research and patient-centered care. While in chiropractic school, she was on the Dean’s List and received the President’s Leadership Award. Dr. Madeline has developed a passion for holistic health, sports medicine, and addressing the root cause of disease through chiropractic care. She enjoys treating professional athletes, weekend warriors, pregnant moms, kids, busy 9-5ers, and anyone in between.
Dr. Madeline grew up in Gig Harbor, Washington and was an avid swimmer and equestrian. She received a swimming scholarship to University of California, Irvine. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Social Behavior. During her rigorous swimming career, she relied on getting sports massage, chiropractic care, and physical therapy. She knew these were necessary treatments for optimal performance and injury prevention. After college, she obtained a massage therapy certificate and started her own massage practice in Seattle. Now as a Chiropractor, Dr. Madeline is able to utilize her advanced massage skills and incorporate them in her chiropractic sessions.
Chiropractic care is a non-invasive manual therapy that treats the musculoskeletal system, while having a healing impact on the nervous system. Chiropractic care restores optimal function, mobility, and strength. When our joints are misaligned and our nervous system is altered, our body produces symptoms such as pain, decreased blood flow, swelling, decreased mobility, numbness, and altered organ function. Unfortunately, many times people will try to mask these symptoms with drugs, surgery, and a sedentary lifestyle. But these “cover-ups” never address the root cause of many health conditions. When a chiropractic adjustment is delivered, the structures are realigned and your nervous system can function at a more optimal healing state. As Hippocrates stated, “Natural forces within us are the true healers of disease."
During your chiropractic sessions at The Health Movement, Dr. Madeline delivers safe and specific adjustments and high quality massage therapy. Her techniques include:
MCKENZIE END-RANGE LOADING
TRIGGER POINT THERAPY
PROPRIOCEPTIVE NEUROMUSCULAR FACILITATION (PNF)
What to expect during your first visit
at The Health Movement
Before your first chiropractic appointment, you will be emailed paperwork to provide us with a health history so we can better serve you. During the initial visit, Dr. Madeline will discuss your health history with you and listen to your health goals and needs. She will then complete a chiropractic analysis consisting of orthopedic and neurological assessments and determine a proper diagnosis and treatment plan for you. Any questions or concerns you may have can be addressed at any time during the session. After properly assessing and diagnosing your condition, Dr. Madeline will discuss your treatment plan and focus on helping your body’s physical, chemical, and emotional health. Please plan for approximately 30-45 minutes for your first visit.
What People are Saying
"I feel very lucky to have found Dr. Madeline. She is one of the kindest and most empathetic people you will ever meet and her care and attention to detail makes her a wonderful doctor. After trying multiple other clinics where treatment times barely last more than a couple min and sometimes gloss over my main complaints, Dr. Madeline helped me find the root problem of my multiple areas of complaint and address them skillfully and thoroughly due to her time length of appointments. It is also very difficult to find a Chiropractor that treats extremities, (arms and legs), and equally difficult to find one that performs muscle release. As an athlete with chronic soreness in my ankles and shoulders, Dr. Madeline has been invaluable to my furthering my progress."

"Dr. Madeline has been amazing! I initially started working with her to release hip pain and she showed me how to strengthen and balance my lower back and glutes to prevent it from returning. She also worked on my psoas, releasing long term lower back pain. As she combines massage and chiropractic work, I am so thankful to be under her care. She also focuses on food as functional medicine and her positivity and sunny disposition are infectious! She is a wonderful healer and I'd recommend her to anyone!"
